Excuses, Excuses

I don’t have enough time
I have too much to do
I don’t know what to write about
I have too many ideas
I don’t know where to start
I don’t have enough followers
I can’t focus
I’m too tired
No one is listening
I don’t know enough about the topic
I don’t have the right equipment
I have to do other work first
Nobody will want to hear it
Someone else has already written about it
Someone else can do it better
No one will be interested in what I say
I’m not an expert
It’s not good enough
I’m not good enough
It’s too hard
It’s too complicated
It’s too simple
I’ll do it tomorrow
I need a nap first
I’ll start later

Does anything on this list look familiar?

I don’t know a single person who doesn’t have some, if not all of these things on their excuse list. All the negative self-talk that goes on in our heads seriously holds us back, and in most cases, it simply isn’t true.

So when you think you’re all alone, know that you’re not.

Don’t let the excuses stop you.
