Today is the Lunar New Year, also the Chinese New Year. And while there is some discussion around what this year’s animal is, the Lunar New Year is nonetheless symbolic of new beginnings.
Traditionally, the Chinese New Year is a 15-day celebration of family, luck and tradition. It’s about bringing good luck and fortune while leaving evil spirits behind .
So how might you use this in your own life?
If 2015 has been less than stellar for you so far and your business (as well as your sanity) is suffering for it, the Lunar New Year is the perfect time to flip things around.
Use this time to take stock of what’s working and what’s not, get strategic, and look forward.
Block out some time in your calendar over the next week or so to really dig deep and connect with yourself. What do you really want? What does your business need from you? What is crying out to be shared with the world?
Re-focus. Re-energize. Re-dedicate yourself to what’s important.
Approach today as a fresh start, much like we do on January 1st — but without all the pressure. After all, yesterday is gone, and today is a new day.
What will you do to support yourself and your business today? Share in the comments.
